Interested in volunteering? Want to get involved?

Our adult Leaders and Assistants give their time voluntarily, as do all those behind the scenes helping keep the Scout Group running.

Pyrford Scout Group
We welcome enquiries from adults who would like to help or support the running of our Scout Group, whether or not they wish to go into uniform. There are literally hundreds of roles you can do including everything from helping run Troop meetings to maintenance of kit and premises. There are no fixed hours or expectations and we all give as much or as little as we feel able to do. Please use the email address on our Contact Us page or speak with any of our adult Leaders.

You don’t need to wear a uniform to help out, and how much time you give is completely up to you. We’ll make sure you receive the proper training and support where your role requires it.

You can find more about volunteering on our website page here.
General information on volunteering can be found on the Scout Association website here.

Young Adults (18 – 25yrs)

Scout Network is for young adults aged 18 to 25 years. Scout Network allows you to create, organise and participate in events and projects with other 18-25 year olds. Build a team, seek out new challenges and be rewarded along the way. Network Scouts can also be adult Leaders and members of SASU.
